The residents of Macarthur Accommodation System have a wonderful community life.
Each Monday night the residents attend Dance Exercises. It is a fun time with lots of laughing and singing. Dancing is the highlight of the week.
Participants celebrate birthdays with a different outing each month. There are cruises, dinners, shows, movies – just to name a few.
We have had some very exciting leisure activities recently. The residents have been to see the Lion King and Wicked at the Capitol Theatre, Dirty Dancing and Strictly Ballroom at the Lyric Theatre, Beauty and the Beast at the Riverside Theatre (Parramatta) and the King and I at the Opera House.

The residents have also had trips to the movies, Bankstown Sports Club, putt putt golf, ten-pin bowling, the Mater Dei fete, Symbio Gardens, and Manly.
We have some excellent sports people in Macarthur Accommodation System and many participants enjoy watching sport.
Some participants are involved with the Special Olympics in sports such as ten-pin bowling, bocce, basketball, cricket, athletics, swimming and more.
