24 Hour Care

Macarthur Accommodation System currently manages two 24 hour group homes located in Bradbury. The residents are all funded under the NDIS. Staff work morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts to provide a high level of care and support to the eight residents who live in the homes.

The residents require support in all areas of:

• Household maintenance
• Diet and menu planning
• Meal preparation
• Social support and community access
• Medical management including medication administration
• Various areas of personal care, as required by medical professionals
• Personal therapy routines including positioning in bed, exercises and stretching requiring staff support and support during exercise physiology
• Financial management including personal budgets and holiday saving programs
• Holiday planning
